St. James' mission is to know and serve God by serving others.
As members of St. James' we grow closer to God through the offering of our generous spirits and willing hands. We show and grow in God's love through our service to others.
Our mission is carried out through service within the parish and through St. James' efforts to support those in our local community who are in need. Within the parish the casserole brigade provides for the needs of members of the congregation who may require temporary assistance with meals due to illness or family emergency, our worship organizations prepare for and take part in corporate worship and our education volunteers look after the learning needs of our youngest to eldest members. St. James' Outreach House provides emergency food and household items to more than 100 families each month. In addition, many of our members serve beyond the parish through volunteer work with local social service organizations reaching well beyond our immediate geographic area.
